Our room and apartment rates include free use of numerous services, including the use of sauna & steam room facilities, wifi, social media wall, XXL TV screen, ski and bike storage and various other amenities, all of which can be enjoyed without additional charge.
Full freedom - no frills, you pay only what you need. Therefore, our breakfast and daily room cleaning is not automatically included.

You can find it every morning in our restaurant Share. You only pay what you really want, so breakfast is not included in your room rate. You can easily book it here or decide spontaneously on site. Our breakfast costs CHF 25 and for children from 7-13 years CHF 13.

You also pay for room cleaning only when you really use it. The daily cleaning is not included in your room rate. You can easily book it here. Of course, the final cleaning of your room is included in your room rate. The final cleaning of the apartments is not included.

Check-in: you can check into your room from 3 p.m., but it’s no problem if you wish to arrive earlier! We’ll be happy to store your luggage in the lobby bar until your room is ready.

Check-out: please vacate your room/apartment by 11 a.m. on the morning of departure. We’re happy to store your bags for you after you leave your room, and you can continue to use the spa facilities (depending on availability).

If you wish to request a late check-out, please contact our front of house agents in the lobby bar. Early check-in and late check-out subject to availability (not included)

Thanks to an innovative self check-in concept, guests can check in and open the door completely independently using their cell phone.

Perhaps one of the most radical changes we have embraced at the AVES Hotel is the decision to go completely cashless. We do accept credit and debit cards, but we particularly encourage contactless payment by smartphone.

As a guest at the Hotel AVES Arosa, you can park conveniently in the Ochsenbühl underground parking garage, which is directly connected to the hotel. You can find the access directly here. At check-in you can also secure one of our private AVES parking spaces (subject to availability). From the parking garage you will find direct access via elevator to the lobby.
All information about the charging station for electric cars can be found one point further on. In Arosa you will find further paid parking options (www.arosa-parking.com).

Coming here by electric car is great for the environment and something we’re keen to encourage. Hotel guests who visit us by e-car can charge their vehicles comfortably and environmentally friendly in the Ochsenbühl parking garage, which is directly connected to the hotel.

You arrive late in the evening, no problem you are certainly not in front of a locked door. Please make your Mobile Check In on your smartphone in advance, then you will receive your room key and the access for the night entrance directly on your phone.

If you are standing in front of the main entrance, you will find our night entrance 15 meters to your right, or you can simply park in the Ochsenbühl parking garage in one of the Aves parking lots.

Have a look at our 2-person and 3-person combos, because of the corridor connection they might fit perfectly. Also our family room could be something for you. We do not have extra beds or connecting doors. Of course, we provide a baby crib free of charge at any time.

We obviously have cots available, but in limited numbers, so please make sure to book one in advance. We don’t, however, offer the option of putting extra beds in a room. Instead, please check out our Family and Friends suites and our apartments, both of which are a great choice for groups of various sizes.

If you find a better rate than the one offered directly by the hotel, we’ll match it – so there’s no need to book through other websites!

Enjoy the SPA with sauna, steam bath and relaxation room on 85 m² at AVES every day from 2 pm. Bathrobes are available free of charge at our bar.

Just 200 meters from AVES you will find the escalator at the train station, which takes you directly to the Weisshorn gondola lift. Or you can take the Tschuggen - Ost chairlift right next door.

Arosa is easy to reach by plane or train. Guests arriving at Zurich Airport (150 km away) can take a taxi or a Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) train. Those arriving at Chur train station can take the Rhaetian Railway or a Swiss PostBus service to Arosa.

Of course, man's most faithful companion is also very welcome in our "Lifestyle double rooms" at Hotel Aves Arosa.

Snow is cleared from the roads to Arosa several times a day. Cars with all-wheel drive and 4x4s will have no problem getting here. You should definitely avoid using snow chains on summer tyres.

We recommend the sports shops around the entrance to the Weisshorn cable car station, which is just 200 metres from the hotel. It’s best to buy ski passes and lift tickets online, since this is up to 6% cheaper.

During your vacation at Hotel AVES Arosa you can safely store your winter or summer equipment in the hotel's own ski & bike depot. The ski boot holders are heated, so you can get into warm boots in the morning. There are no individually lockable lockers. After challenging trails, there is a bike wash area across from the Hotel Aves at the entrance to the parking garage.

The Bike Kingdom is the largest mountain biking region in Graubünden and is one of the best MTB spots in Switzerland. In the Arosa bike region, you can expect a wide variety of trails that allow every type of biker to find their flow - whether they are new to the sport, families or ambitious enduro riders, the trails in Arosa make every biker's heart beat faster. From one overnight stay you will receive the Arosa Card by e-mail after the online check-in. This allows you to use numerous services free of charge during your entire stay. Valid in the summer season from June 8 to October 20, 2024, it includes the mountain railroads, pedalo on the Obersee and the Untersee lido. Arosa is an insider tip for those seeking peace and quiet and offers the right trouvaille for all tastes. Arosa is known for its varied offer for families. There's never a dull moment here. There is a football pitch and an adventure playground right behind the house. The pedalo is only 20 meters away due to the direct location on the lake. The ropes course is approx. 200m from the hotel.

Riding to Arosa is a real experience for motorcyclists. 365 sporty bends and then the idyllic village of Arosa. You can park your motorcycle for free in the Ochsenbühl parking garage right next to the hotel in summer.

In case of an emergency, the Arosa Medical Centre is just 150 metres from the AVES Hotel. There is also a chemist/pharmacy just 150 metres from the hotel (Pill Apotheke & Drogerie Montana). The hotel can put you in contact with various doctors’ surgeries/physicians.
