The most significant change is in the accepted payment methods – Hotel Aves is now completely cashless. Credit and debit cards are accepted, but contactless payment by mobile phone is particularly welcome.

What parking options are available? As a guest at Hotel AVES Arosa, you can park conveniently in the Ochsenbühl underground car park, which is directly connected to the hotel. You will find the entrance directly here. When you check in, you can also reserve one of our private AVES parking spaces (subject to availability). From the parking garage, you can take the elevator directly to the lobby.

Would you like to travel by electric car? Not only is this good for the environment, but we are also delighted. Hotel guests who visit us with an electric car can charge their vehicles conveniently and in an environmentally friendly manner in the Ochsenbühlparkhaus parking garage, which is directly connected to the hotel.

You arrive late in the evening, no problem – you won’t be standing in front of a locked door. Please do your Mobile Check In on your smartphone in advance, then you will receive your room key and access for the night entrance directly on your phone.

If you are standing in front of the main entrance, you will find our night entrance 15 meters to your right, or you can simply park in the Ochsenbühl parking lot in one of the Aves parking spaces, where your smartphone will also give you direct access to the hotel.

If you’re traveling with your family, which room is best for you, why not take a look at our 2 and 3-person combos, which could be a perfect fit thanks to the corridor connection. Our family room could also be something for you. We do not have any extra beds or connecting doors. Of course, we can provide you with a baby crib free of charge at any time.

We have baby cribs, of course, but the number is limited. So please book in advance. We do not offer extra beds: alternatively, check out the Family and Friends combos or the various apartments. Perfect for different group sizes.

If you find a cheaper price than the one quoted directly by the hotel, the hotel will match it, so there is no reason to book through other portals.

Enjoy the spa with sauna, steam bath, and relaxation room covering 85 m² at AVES every day from 2 p.m. Bathrobes are available free of charge at our bar.

Just 200 meters from AVES, you will find the escalator at the train station, which will take you directly to the Weisshorn gondola lift. Or you can opt for the Tschuggen – Ost chairlift right next door.

Arosa is also easily accessible by plane and train: From Zurich Airport (150 km away), take a taxi or the Swiss Federal Railways. From Chur station, the Rhaetian Railway or the PostBus will take you to Arosa.

The roads to Arosa are cleared of snow several times a day. Cars with all-wheel drive or 4×4 have no problems reaching Arosa. Summer tires with snow chains should be avoided at all costs.

We recommend the sports shops around the entrance to the Weisshorn Bahn, which are only 200 meters from the hotel. You can purchase ski passes and winter sports tickets online and save up to 6%.

You can store your winter or summer equipment safely in the hotel’s own ski and bike depot during your vacation at Hotel AVES Arosa. The ski boot holders are heated so that you can step into warm boots in the morning. There are no individually lockable lockers. After challenging trails, there is a bike wash area opposite Hotel Aves at the entrance to the parking garage.

There are routes to suit every riding style, from leisurely to sporty and from easy to difficult.

The Bike Kingdom is the largest mountain biking region in Graubünden and one of the best MTB spots in Switzerland.
